Who: We welcome 2-3 people from smaller organizations and/or departments of larger organizations for the March TIC Workshops. Participants should be in leadership positions who can drive change.
What: Learn about NEAR Science and Theory of Change in order to lead the growth of a Trauma-Informed Approach in your organization. The 2-3 people who participate from each department/organization will work with others in their department to bring trauma-informed care principles to life.
When/Where:
Monday, March 20, 2023 - 8:30 - 4:00 - Workshop #1 - Granger
Monday, March 27, 2023- 8:30 - 4:00 - Workshop #2 - Granger
Participants must attend both Workshops. We recognize this requires a significant time commitment. The instruction and activities build on each other as the participants progress through the workshops. Without full attendance, the experience for the participants and the group as a whole is diminished.
Why: A Trauma-Informed Approach promotes a unique opportunity to integrate physical, mental and behavioral health, and change the way service providers and the public in general perceive and respond to trauma and adverse childhood events.
Cost: No charge for participation.
Registration Deadline: March 6, 2023. Each participant needs to register individually. We encourage 2-3 people from each organization to register.
Thank you for your interest in a Trauma-Informed Approach!
